Welcome To Amputee Care Center
powered by Spronken
Genk, Belgium, September 7, 2026—This coming Saturday, September 19, the Amputee Care Center (ACC) by Spronken will open its doors for a unique Peer Support Day. Three years after its founding, the ACC is bringing together prosthesis users, their families, healthcare professionals, and experts for a day filled with knowledge sharing, networking, and the latest technology in the field of prosthetics.
The Amputee Care Center (ACC) by Spronken is a specialized center offering comprehensive care for adults and children with arm or leg prostheses, founded by Spronken Orthopedics in 2023. The Amputee Care Center specializes in the design and fabrication of custom finger, hand, and arm prostheses as well as leg prostheses, and in the care and support of prosthesis users. Since its founding about three years ago, the ACC has grown into a close-knit community centered on amputation and prosthetic care. With the Peer Support Day, Spronken is giving that community an extra boost.
Spronken Orthopedics is one of Belgium’s leading companies in the field of orthopedic technology. Through this event, the company aims to share its approach—centered on focus and innovation—with prosthesis users and other interested stakeholders.
In supporting prosthesis users, the Amputee Care Center places great importance on comprehensive care. This is once again evident during the Peer Support Day: through interaction with fellow amputees, families, and supporters; through knowledge sharing; and through exposure to the latest technologies. Our goal: to inform, inspire, and motivate.
This day focuses on peer support (for people with arm or leg prostheses from Belgium and the Netherlands), supplemented by presentations, workshops, information sessions, and a guided tour.
